OUTside INdia

The context of this brief was an invitation to create a site specific installation as part of a forthcoming exhibition by Ed D’Souza. To consider the nature of the proposed exhibition OUTside INdia and the premise of making connections with the physical surroundings, immediate environment and local businesses around the offices of W+K in Delhi. 

My concept revolves around generating a system. By taking an image from a street sceen I have blanked out all the signs and created a system of die cuts throughout the book, which forms a narrative. you go “in” throught the front cover and come “out” of the back cover.

Throughout the book, these die cut holes are a divider between Ed’s work and his inspiration. The hole creating a device to move between inspiration and responce.
